1. Our Core Principle: Zero Knowledge

Guardian Angel is built on a "zero-knowledge" principle. This means that we, the developers, have zero access to any personal or sensitive information you enter into the app. All data you record in features like the Personal Vault, Evidence Locker, and Wellness Journal is encrypted and stored exclusively on your own device (your phone, tablet, or computer's browser storage). We do not have servers that store this data. You are the only person who holds the key and has access.

2. What Information is Collected?

The only data that might leave your device is when you voluntarily choose to use specific, clearly-marked features:

• AI Features: When you use an AI-powered feature (e.g., Safety Plan AI), the text or data you input for that specific query is sent to a third-party AI provider (like Google's Gemini) to generate a response. This data is not used to train the AI models and is not associated with your identity.
• Feedback Forms: If you choose to submit feedback and voluntarily provide your email address for a follow-up, that is the only personally identifiable information we would receive. Providing an email is optional.
• Sharing: When you decide to share your Emergency ID or export data, you are in complete control of who you send that information to.

3. Data Security & Your Responsibility

Because your data is stored on your device, you are responsible for securing your device (e.g., with a strong password or biometrics). If you lose access to your device, we cannot help you recover your data because we do not have it.

4. Data Monetization

We will never sell or monetize your personal data. Our mission is to provide a safe tool, not to profit from your information.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
